Duties

You will be responsible for assisting the development and implementation of the groups CMMS at our Newark site,taking information form managers/suppliers/instruction manuals. By becoming an expert on the system after training, you will also help to coach and train employees in the use of the system. Daily duties will be:

  • Developing and communicating planned preventative maintenance schedules on live assess within CMMS.
  • Inputting results of PPM tasks into the CMMS system and raising any works orders as needed.
  • Developing a spare part process to progressively roll out across the site as assets go live.
  • Act as the coordinator to developing and rolling out the CMMS system into other production lines of the plant.
  • Training and coaching  users around the site.
  • Regular updates with the supervisor/departmental managers on project progress, issues faced,adherence to deadlines , produce reports from the system.

Qualifications

  • A graduate recently completed a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering honors degree.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills, happy to find workable solutions to problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work with a range of colleagues and clients.

Shifts/Hours

The hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week / 8 hours per day.

Apprentice Plant Operative.


Duties

This is an exciting opportunity to learn the Operations of a Biomass Power Plant Facility. You will undertake daily duties ti include assisting team members with the smooth running of operating the ancillary plant,steam and power generation equipment whilst always adhering to site rules. You will complete all reports and paperwork accurately,working to tight deadlines and ensuring that the plant operates at maxim efficiency output. You will understand and follow strict Health and Safety rules to company guild lines, you will also understand all Standard Operation Procedures, whilst maintaining a clean and tidy environment, you will also undertake relevant company training.

Qualifications

  • You will have a grade C/4 or above in English & Math's or at least ESOL Level  English.
  • Preferably hold an ICT Qualification as you will learn to operate SCADA.
  • Excellent Communicator.
  • Willing to undertake further training.
  • Ability to take a follow instructions.
  • Above all an excellent team player.

Plant Manager


Duties

You will be responsible for the daily management of the facility including supervision of the senior operators and administration functions in line with the company procedures and systems.. You will be available( on call) 24 hours a day/7 days a week in an advisory and supporting function. You will be responsible for all external interfaces from the facility including Goods and Services providers, Regulating Authorities etc. Management of fuel supply and waste disposable contracts and the effective implementation of the facility Pollution and Control permit( PPC). The effect implementation of facility health and Safety Plan, Environmental Management Plan,and Quality Manual in line with the associated accreditation ( ISO 9001 ,14001 & 18001 etc.) You will ensure facility KPIs such as availability, operation performance etc and the accurate reporting as such in accordance with the owners requirements. Maintain staff by recruiting , selecting, orienting and training of employees:maintaining a safe, secure and legal work environment, developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements;preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures;analyzing variances;initiating corrective actions: Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations;planning monitoring and appraising job results.

Qualifications

  • Preferably  an Engineering Qualification: ONC/HNC/HND Degree or extensive and proven Mechanical , Electrical , Control & Instrumentation understanding and the experience
  • Senior operations management experience of at least 5 years, ideally in a Biomass/EFW power generating facility .
  • Knowledge and experience of  QHSE management systems, implementation and continuous improvement and their relationship to the relevant laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge and exp[experience of Standard Operating Procedures, permit systems and their implementation and operation.
  • Knowledge and experience of Maintenance management Systems and their implementation in power generation facility.
  • Ideally have a process Industrial background. Holds a good understanding of the Operational process, system control and instrumentation.
  • Team Development to include , Recruitment,Performance management,Coaching and Supervision.
  • You must have the drive and motivation to be successful in leading a skilled power generation team.

Maintenance Manager.


Duties

In this role you will be deputizing for the Plant manager at an operational level. You will be fostering and promoting a strong health, safety,environmental and quality culture for all employees and visitors. Daily management of the facility maintenance team, ensuring the planned maintenance of plant and apparatus is carried out in accordance with the maintenance schedule and the specification of the works. Also you will be managing proactive and reactive maintenance and managing change to eliminate chronic and reduce delays,ensuring appropriate management tools are utilized (RCA/FMEA/CI) to drive reliability and efficiency.Plan and schedule maintenance operations on all mechanical and Electrical plant using the CMMS system,coaching and mentoring maintenance technicians,undertaking appraisals of team members,ensuring the completion of all relevant documentation and reports in line with health safety, environmental, and quality,facility systems. Management of all sub contractors ensuring compliance company requirements, assisting the management team with identifying life cycles costs of the plant. Managing and reporting KPI's.

Qualifications

Duties

This is an exciting and variable role , working towards a great career opportunity within engineering. Working with an excellent team of Mechanical Engineers, assisting with all maintenance works within the rendering factory. You will be filling in daily log sheets for works carried out. Working to a high standard whilst complying with the Company's Health and Safety requirements.You will conduct Risk Assessments for works to be carried out,fault finding,repairing and installing new equipment,whilst ensuring production is not interrupted. Work areas must be clean and tidy after works have been completed. You will also undertake any relevant company training.

You will be competent to carry out all electrical works including inspection and testing. You must possess practical engineering skills to be able to work on your own proficiently and carry out installation and repair work without immediate supervision. Ideally you must have previous experience with 240V and 415V three phase, also Heavy Plant Machinery the ability to read and work from technical drawings and SOP's.
